Our organisation has released a book titled “The First Native Voice of Madras- Gazulu Lakshminarasu Chetty”, Authored by B. Jagannath on June 2024. Gazulu Lakshminarasu Chetty, was a phenomenal freedom fighter forgotten by history. His sacrifices for this nation and fight ‘AGAINST BRITISH TORTURE’ cannot be described in words. Every wall of Pachaiyappan College speaks of his desire for EQUALITY IN EDUCATION. The pages of the ‘The Hindu’ daily paper showcase his work on ‘FREEDOM OF PRESS. His voice roared against British rulers for FAIR TAXATION. Several thousand native people had followed him for their RELIGIOUS RIGHTS. He established a POLITICAL ORGANIZATION for suppressed native Indians of Madras.
Eligibility to Participate:
We invite everyone who is willing to “Discover our own History” to join with us. College students are encouraged to participate in this historical competition.

- Selfless work for poor & downtrodden.

Prize Details of both Writing and Speech competition each:
Rs. 5,000 (1st Prize)
Rs. 3000 (2nd Prize)
Rs. 2000 (3rd Prize)
Terms and Conditions for essay writing competition:
- Research papers are invited in Tamil or English.
- Research Paper required with reference point backed by research documentary evidence.
- Each participant can participate in any one topic.
- Own Research Article and Send your article in prescribed research method.
- Send article with synopsis, key words, Introduction, conclusion, List of books referred.
- Maximum 3000 Words
- Typed Copies only Accepted, Tamil Unicode or Arial, Font size 12, 1.5 line space
- Send only word / pdf format.
- Management & Jury decision is final.
- Winning articles will be published in our website.
Terms and condition for Speech competition:
- Recorded videos are welcomed in Tamil or English language
- Speech recordings must be submitted in video format only. File should me named as : { your name_Instituion}
- Each participant may submit only one entry and the speech must be original and delivered by the participant
- Duration of the video must be within 3-4 minutes
